Academic planning and its meticulous implementation by the educational institutions are an essential requirement for the attainment of learning outcomes by its students . It is more so for the Kendriya Vidyalayas as they strive to achieve excellence in the demanding task of educating the young children in their care. The normal physical functioning of schools in the last two academic years being curtailed, engagement of
. students with the tasks of learning were carried out in the blended mode. Now that the normal functioning of schools has commenced in almost all the places, it is essential that we carefully chalk out a plan that would takeinto account the consequences of the limitations to the curricular transactions in the last couple of years and lead the students towards the fulfillment of aims and aspirations of NEP-2020. You may recall this office letter dated 24 05 2021 on the subject of Academic Planning. It listed the focus areas primarily based on the pedagogical requirements arising out of the implementation of NEP-2020. Further, it also asked all the Kendriya Vidyalayas to
prepare a Vidyalaya-level plan keeping in view the experiences and learnings of the previous session. A similar action needs to be carried out this year too.
